Welcome to the CHIPILILO SQUARE MEATERS Web site.
CHIPILILO is in fact the name of a young African boy who is sponsored by the
Horne family through WORLD VISION in Chipililo's home country of Malawi.
Chipililo's full name is Chipililo Baraba and he was born on the 11th
October 1995 which makes him just a little older than the Square Meaters
breed of cattle which was officially launched in 1996. Links to World Vision
can be found on this site for those who wish to investigate further the work
that they do across the Globe.
On this site you will find basic information about Square Meaters cattle as
well as a link to the national SQUARE MEATERS CATTLE ASSOCIATION OF
AUSTRALIA LTD.
Any web site is not complete without a little bragging, so we have also
included some of our successes.
We especially want to introduce you to EMMBERG BEEF who are the suppliers of
Chipililo Squaremeaters Beef to Southern and South East Queensland.
Dave and Donna Cox are our friends and neighbours as well as the owners of
Emmberg Beef, a family owned business specialising in delivering quality
meat to your door including Brisbane, Toowoomba, all places in between and
elsewhere.
Most of all we would like to extend to you a welcome when you visit us at
Pittsworth just South West of Toowoomba. Come and see our Square Meaters and
allow us to treat you to some Queensland hospitality.
